Yoga

Our yoga classes follow a Hatha-style approach, making them beginner-friendly while offering modifications for different abilities. Unlike faster-paced styles, we hold poses longer, allowing for deeper engagement and gradual progression.

Each session is structured around a peak pose, meaning we slowly prepare the body to achieve a specific posture by the end of class. The flow typically includes:

  • Seated grounding to begin

  • A gentle, modified Sun Salutation (one slow round)

  • Standing poses that progressively build toward the peak pose

  • The final peak pose, where the body is fully prepared through similar movements

To ensure accessibility, we always use blocks and elastic straps to help beginners find proper alignment and comfort. The slow, progressive nature of the class makes it particularly suitable for older adults and those seeking a mindful, structured practice.
